    Hi folks!

Ripped using DVD Decryptor, Main Movie and IFOs as well as Video_TS files. All comes to about 4.5GB which burns using nero 5.5.9.1.7, the good version for the Sony DRU-500A. Movie fails to start on inserting into standalone DVD player, APEX AD-800, get bad disc error, but if I hit the play button, it starts and plays without a hitch. Livable but annoying.

Ripped it again using DVD Decryptor, then DVD2AVI, force film option, then used TMPEGenc. Nice MPEG at 1.6 GB but audio loses sync about 20 minutes into playing. Never ever had this problem before. What am I doing wrong? Using 1.82 on DVD2AVI and TMPEG 2.56 and DVD Decryptor 3.1.4

All help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  2. I'm not a techy. I used DVD Decrypter and then burned it straight to a DVD+R with Nero (without re-encoding). The decrypted files were about 4.3 GB. The DVD plays flawlessly.

  3. you definitely did something wrong, did you rip too many
files? just go for the main ones _+ the video_ts.vob/ifo/bup

these only come out to 3800 mg or so with ALL the subs and
audio langs...use ifoedit to redo the vts sectors, this is done
    to the video_ts.ifo

    of course you need video_ts.vob/ifo.bup.

Just for kicks, use ifoedit to create new video_ts.ifo/vts_01_1.ifo
this will dump menu so it will play just the movie...

no subs play for some reason, no sure why

PS>>>>Minority report is out not at a staggering 7500+MG
    have fun with that one....
