    How about it all. What's the best Apex standalone player? I want it to read generic media (princo 2x) and also svcd. I am evaluating a 1110W which seems to work fine. Problem w/ it is no composite outs. Just left and right and super video.

    Anyone?

    I don't think there's any one BEST, it's just a matter of what function you need and personal preferences. I'd check out nerd-out.com forums for lots of discussion on Apex and other low-end DVD players.
