    and then to create the IFO... using IFOEdit .90. I know using Spruce up or what have you is nice..but I do not want to be dependent on a software that does not exist anymore.

    There are quite a few consumer level DVD authoring apps around nowaday at various price points and with mixed abilities.

    Sonic products are bundled with many DVD burners and are simple to use but limited in their abilities. Ulead products (such as Movie Factory and DVD Workshop) get better all the time and are very poular with many users of this forum. Dazzle DVD complete is (IMHO) quite good when you can get it to work. I say this because it seems to suffer compatibility problems on some systems.

    There are others too, just take your pick.
