What happen if open one AVI file, edit someone, and save it, and i repeat again, and again, many days, and so, many times. My final Avi file , have a poor quality?.

And Then, what avi format is the best for edit many times or cicles?

  2. Uncompressed AVI or HUFFyuv codec, those are the two that will have no decrease in quality after multiple edits and resaves. Those 2 codecs take up a large amount of room on your hard drive though.

You could use Virtual Dub to do simple cuts with your compressed AVIs and lose no quality. Down side is you can only do cuts, no effects or so (well you could, but you'd lose quality).
