Yes I am, I've tried renaming everything......with the file and name without, uppercase, lowercase, anything you can think of but no go. I am running the trial of SpruceUp, could that be it? By the way thanks syd.

  4. Spruce Up says in the DEMO disclaimer that Digital Audio (AC3) is disabled, and is only available in the registered version. And to answer that question, NO I don't have a registered version either.

  6. Try re-naming the audio part file extension to (.mpa)

    Always works for me

And it keeps the AC-3 sound intact, even though it's not named whatever.ac3 anymore?

    Thanks...

  9. It should keep the AC3 intact. I don't think SpruceUp has the power to encode AC3 to MPEG.

Besides, whenever I have an M2V and an MPEG audio file, I rename the mpa to ac3. Doesn't change the audio to AC3. If you want to see what happens, import the file, and click on export. The correct audio type will be displayed, regardless of what you renamed it. Hope this helps.

  10. why going the hard way while a lot of people can get SpruceUp full version for free and ReelDVD full version for $20. They both work perfect for M2V and AC3.
