I am batting maybe .500 with the 1:1 method on this site
It seems like an inconsistent program. Half the time I get a sweet copy, the other half usually ends up skipping majorly at the end. I have tried to burn a movie and have it skip at the end and then try it again and have it work perfectly. What gives?

I don't think it's dvd decrypter that makes it skip towards the end.
Maybe the media? I haven't had any problems with dvd decrypter with 1:1 dvd's or just ripping the dual layer dvd's. What media have you been using? -
what I am saying is that I have done a movie w/ dvddecrypter and had it skip at the end and then I have tried it again, same media and everything, and then have it work. I have had success w/ sony+rw, memorex +r, and I have had sucess and failure w/ fujifilm +r/rw and with maxell -r.
what has been the best media you have used? -
i have found dvdpro dvd-rw's to be perfect. I havent had a bad burn yet and i have burned like 35 of them. Meritline.com is a good place to find any media.

This is not caused by DVD Decrypter, have you tried your discs in another DVD player by any chance? Could very well be the media too.
