Hi Guys

I've been converting downloaded AVI, Divx, xVid etc, etc movies of various formats suchs as NTSC Video>Pal, NTSC Film>Pal, Pal>Pal etc, etc to VCD format successfully for some months no using a combination of Virtualdub, TMPEnc and VCDEasy.

I've now installed a video capture card into my PC and I'm using Microsofts MovieMaker2 Beta to capture and edit some home movies but I've hit a problem and I'm not sure how to solve it.

After editing the movie in MM2 I've saved in several different formats including DV-AVI etc - The movie plays fine at this point.
I then use TMPEnc to convert it to a suitable MPEG1 Video CD format using the PAL 4.3 template (I'm in the UK hence PAL). This video also plays fine.
I then use VCDEasy to burn the video to CD- but this is where my probelms start.

When I try and play the VCD in my standalone DVD player it's completely shot to pieces with green blocks, skipping sounds, skipping images, bussing and squeeking.

I've tried burning several CD's and get exactly the same problem.
I've never had this problem with any of the 60+ odd films I've converted so I'm baffled as to where the problem lies.

Any ideas greatly appreciated
Thanks
