Picked up a 'test pack' that was supposed to contain a few different types of media for DVD-R/W. Issue... the labeling is um.... a little LESS then to be desired....
Anyway to identify the manufacturer of the media?
I've checked the inner rings (where at least on some CD media there is print pointing to that clue) and nada, zip, zilch!!!
Or am I just going to have to wade my way through the stack and try and see what works and what doesn't!!!
Thanks

there is a tool (i think it is under the tools section here, but I know it exists.) that will scan the info on the blank disc. it either tells you right out, or you can compare it to the codes under "DVD Media" to the left.
it is called ADVDInfo -
VCDEasy does it as well, if you have that. Tools>CDRDAO Tools>CD info
