    total newbie, so tia for help.

    should i hear the audio when i preview the file in TMPGenc during avi>mpg conversion? i used virtualdub to extract the audio first, and am using the two files mux'd to get the result. the audio track itself is fine, so i'm not sure if how the TMPGenc is supposed to behave.
