    I've wasted several blank dvd's so i hope someone can help me. I rip the movies with dvd decrypter , or smartrip, i create the d2v file with dvd2avi, i re-encode with TMpeg, and i author with dvd maestro someone please tell me what i am doing wrong, the chapters work fine and the whole movie is present i just have this weird jitter going on.
    Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz, 850EMV2L, 768 MB PC1066 Rambus, GeForce 4 Ti 4600 Leadtek, Soundblaster Audigy Ex, WD 80GB x2, WD 120GB x1, Plexwriter 48X, Pioneer A06 DVD Rom, Toshiba 1612 DVD Rom, Sony DRU 500A DVD Writer. Almost forgot leadtek TV2000XP Deluxe.

  2. I am no expert but try checking what field is your tmpgenc is set for.. if it is set for bottom field, try using the top field.... I have the same problem before and that fixed my jitter problem..

    if its not a field problem it could be a matter of not having the 3:2 pulldown encoded on your movie.

    if your source is NTSC-FILM then in TMPGEnc you need to unlock the fields and use the 3:2 pulldown on the Encode mode and framerate will be 23.97 ( internally 29.97)
