When I produce VCD's using DVDx I have no problem with video/ audio sync. However, when producing SVCD's always have this problem.
I have a Toshiba SD210 player.
Anyone have a solution?

With SVCD and Toshiba players, the trick is to Multiplex the Video/Sound at the right rate. The only program I knew to do this was Roxio Video Pack 5, however it is possibe using bbMpeg also which is a free program unlike videopack
Demultiplex your video, then Multiplex it together again using bbMpeg making sure you have SVCD cheked for the program stream type, the Forced mux rate should be 6972, Pack options 2324 and Packets/Pack 1
leave the rest how it is.
let me know how you goand invest in a CD-RW they are a bit slower but when testing stuff like this they are worth their weight in gold, your player should support them. It also might be possible to set the mux rate etc within DVDX however I am not familiar with the program sorry.

I have the same problem too (with SVCD's), wouldnt it be easier to put an audio 'delay' in before burning to cdr?
Can this be done?
Cheers
