    I downloaded Eight Crazy Nights from Kazaa and I am converting it now to mpg but was wondering why I can't get any video to show in tmpgenc while its converting. I downloaded Ghost Ship and it worked just fine showed the video and all. Any help is appreciated.

    sounds like you got a phony file, quite common these days with P2P.

    Another thing you might try is this. If you are able to play the movie as an avi, that is. If you are use the frameserve instructions in the how-to for virtualdub and convert with tmpeg
