  1. Hi Dudes

I have some MP3-Files (without video ) which freeze during playback. When I fast-forward a second, the rest plays fine. Is there a way to fix this without decode to .wav and reencode? I searched the web a while but can only find stuff about repairing movies.

    Thanks a lot

  2. Don't know if this will help but a program called mp3trim (easy to find) can fix bad headers and detect bad frames in MP3s.

So, what I recommend is to reconvert the file or try this program to fix whatever is wrong, if it is unrepairable, I suggest searching for another copy!

    Hope that helps!

Uncook is for MP3's messed up with linefeeds because it was send as text instead of binary - this was not my prob, but MP3trim helped, thanks a lot
