Alright, I'm going to be getting the new Pioneer A05 burner for christmas and was wondering what brands of disks have been working for everybody and what to stay away from using. Also, this being my first dvd burner I've got a few questions.

1.) What is the preferred format for recording movies onto, -r or -rw?

2.) Can you leave the session open on dvd-r's and continously add data to them over time?
