I don't know if this is the correct forum for my problem but I figured it was worth a try. My husband uses his hand held camcorder to transfer still pictures(not digital) onto vcr tape. he then dubbs music making an interesting memory. he uses a box like apparatus which holds the pictures on one side in front of a light. I've noticed that if the pictures are indoor pictures the light escapes thru the faces making the quality very poor. I would like to buy him so more advanced equiptment but have no idea where to go. I went to a trusted and knowledgable camera store they were unable to help me. perhaps someone here could point me in the right direction.

Quote from vcdhelp.com....
If you want to capture analog Video, TV or Cam in realtime to VCD,SVCD or DVD MPEG you should get a VCD,SVCD,DVD(MPEG1/MPEG2) realtime capture card, like Dazzle, WinTV PVR or ATI ALL IN WONDER. Some cards requires a fast CPU and some not and the video quality differs from card to card."Today is only yesterdays tomorrow"
