  1. IS there anyway to auth mpeg2 vbr/cbr onto cd-R as VCD2.0 or should I just reencode these files to mpeg1...I'm going to try the cDVD test disc to see if it works on my player (Pioneer avx-7300dvd), if it does what are the best/better progs for mini/cDVDs¿

  5. VCDImager will accept MPEG2 as inputs for the video tracks on a VCD, with an angry warning. You may also find that you can't use ff/rw if you go with this method (some MPEG2 streams do not have the proper scan offsets and VCDImager will only allow the update scan offsets option with SVCDs, not VCDs).

    this will probally freak out your dvd player.

    i burnt 6 mpeg 2 tracks and 1 mpeg 1 track to a SVCD>


    the MPEG 1 will not play.3


    and I got the king of xvcd, APEX 660

  8. I would have to agree...my player definitely does not like to find MPEG2 tracks on a (X)VCD.
