  1. What are the differences between the two DVDs in the Shrek DVD case?

  2. one is the features disc (may contain biography, how they made the movie etc...)or extra and the other disc is the actual movie

  3. Both of them seem to play the movie. Maybe its the size of the screen it plays on or something.

Disc one has the full screen format of the movie with some extra features and disc two has the wide screen version (letterbox) version of the movie plus some special features.Both can be done onto dvd-r without re-encoding using dvddecryptor and ifoedit (simple dvd9 to dvd-r/-rw guide at doom9 site)

  6. Actually disc one is 1.33:1 (4:3). Disc two is 1.78:1 (16:9). I ripped it with dvddecriptor ifo mode and chose the first pgc and first angle. I than stripped all audio and sub titles except 2 channel dolby, 6 channel dolby
    and english subs. clicked get vts sectors and voila! Just burned the resultant file with dvdworkshop.
