    I need a good mac vcd player...i hear people talk about vcl or vlc??? where can i get this program? i have been unable find it on the interent...

    Must not have searched too hard. I did a search on google for vlc and the very first link that came up was the VLC web site: http://www.videolan.org.

    i always use quicktime pro and never have had a problem. for vcd's and svcd's.
