    Hello all,

    I have ripped a foriegn film to my hard drive and when i play back the vob files i cannot access the subtitles from the Power Dvd menu.I need these to watch the film as it is french.I am using smart ripper.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Does your original DVD have 1 or 2 layers ?

    And ... is your plan to watch it on HD or burn it on DVD ?

    i don't think you can view the vobs directly in winDVD/powerDVD without having any problems....(aspect ratio, wrong audio, no subs, etc..)

    you need to make it into a DVD-R, SVCD, VCD, etc....
