    Can anyone explain the following fault message appearing on a Pioneer DV 340: FLASHSUM.

    Not sure what that means. I never got it on my Pioneer. Im just havin trouble playin VCDs. Not all CDr media works. I cant find one specific one that works everytime. Its off and on, off and on. It comes up with PBC PLAY on it. It recognizes the CD as a VCD, cause it says it on the LCD screen but doesnt wanna run.
