Flicking and pausing in movies ????

for some reason now weather its a rip of a dvd or a avi i chged to mpeg when i burn it now and play the dvds back on the cheap dvds or the apple/maxell dvds.... it stops for 2 seconds in parts of the movie but keeps going...... what can be causing this problem

It could be that your DVD player doesn't support the format you just burnt, your bitrate is too high, it could be that you burnt your maxell CD-R's at a very high speed, or it could be due to very cheap-crappy media. Try using another brand of CD-R (media). :P

its dvd-r...... and it use to just happen once in a while on crappy dvdr...... now it happens on ever movie
