I ran ReMPEG2 overnight (twice) and each time it stops at 99% complete after 6 hours. After another 6 hours the cpu is at 100% but there is no disk access. When I stop it it says it is still in progress. I am using XP with SP1 and ReMPEG2 v1.5.2. Has anyone else received this problem and how do you get round this?

Hit the cancel button when it hangs at 99%. ReMpeg is finished transcoding, but for some reason it glitches, and hangs there. You should get messages after that saying transcoding done... Works for me

I get that message sometimes. I did the above, cancel. The I went ahead and burned to a dvd-rw to see what would happen, (Can always erase the rw) and it worked fine .

Used to happen on my PC (running win98) every so often until I started rebooting the PC just before I ran rempeg2, seems to cure a similar error I was getting with tmpgenc.

Thanks for the reply. Hitting cancel works just fine. The first time I did it I hit the X in the right hand corner to close the window and it complained. Cancel did the job and the file remuxed fine in IfoEdit. Once you understand a little bit about this the IfoEdit guides from doom9 work a treat. Thanks a lot guys.
