  1. I have authored 2 movies (2 sets of VOB files, IFO files and BUP files), they are small enough to put onto ONE DVD-/+R. How (and with what program) do I burn to DVD-/+R, I just want to have a simple menu with 2 buttons on it to select the respective movie.

This is easy with SpruceUp. Import both movies, create chapters in them and make a menu with 2 buttons. Link fist button to chapter1 in movie1 and second button to chapter1 in movie2. That's all.

Since you already know how to author, just author them again together in the same project. You can't take two separately authored projects and burn to one disc.

Oh, didn't see that you already have authored 2 title sets. Then you have to reauthor them to one new title set in the way I described above. You can strip out the source files with a DVD ripper software if you don't have them.
