Hi all,
I have been trying to burn some SVCD videos I have onto a CD so that I can play them on my DVD player. But I noticed that some of the original videos don't have the right aspect ratio, so they look messed up on the TV. Is there any tool that allows me to quickly clip/repack the videos to have the right aspect ratio? I tried using TMPGEnc but it says it needs 3 hours + to re-encode a 3 minute video.
P.S. I have a SVCD video that plays on PowerDVD but doesn't get recognized by TMPGEnc. Is there a way to save the file?
Many thanks.
Rann

Download vcdgear from doom9.org and save your video file to local hard disk. Then download the reMPEG tool from same site and change the aspect ratio. It easy.
After finish the job burn it againAndKem -
Thanks for the reply. I tried using ReMPEG2 v1.52, but whenever I tried to open a m2v, the app crashes. I'm using XP, and in the readme it's not listed as supported.
So if this doesn't work, is there another way? Or do I have to use TMPGEnc and use 3 hours to re-encode a 3 minute MV?
Thanks.
