I'm using tmpgenc to convert divx to mpeg with toolame as the external encoder, it works fine on some eg dogsoldiers & highlander 4 but toolame crashes with 13 ghosts at the same place every time it does this if i extract the audio to wav or not, i have over 100gb of free hard drive space so thats not the problem and i have the latest toolame

I had some trouble with toolame on occasion. I used BeSweet insted.

thanks tried that too but it default to mp2enc.dll(is this toolame dll version), also the audio was out os sync when i muxed it do i have to convert the frame rate from 24.976 to 29 as well?

I occasionally have toolame crash, I just encode those using tmpgenc's built-in MP2 encoder. I don't notice a difference, tmpgenc's encoder may not be the best but it's certainly acceptable (at least with current versions). Just don't use the built-in sample rate converter....

try SCMPX, works excellent for me.
