  1. I have some mpegs that have been reencoded using quicktime pro. They are parts of one movie, each mpeg being one chapter. I thought that I would be able to join them together using extractor but the software will not see them. What else could I use to join these mpegs together for importing into DVDSP?

  2. You might try something as simple as the Terminals concatenate command: >> command append one file to another

    cp vts_01_1.mpg movie.mpg
    cat vts_01_2.mpg >> movie.mpg

There is a simple gui for this at http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/.Public/MoreMissingTools.sit

Try mpgtxwrap. There is also (shareware) Rosetta.

  4. Where can I find a copy of mpgtxwrap? A google.com search found 3 places to check. One seems to be a .mac site no longer available. The other two didn't have this software. Rosetta doesn't do this well or at all with some files in OSX. Author claims this is due to bugs in OSX??! ( I'm a paying user or at least I used to use Rosetta.) thanks Schwinn
