    ive read all the articles and still dont understand.
    i have a couple dvd-r's, and i am using a a DVDRW PIONEER 104,
    what i wish to do is allow any format DVD, SVCD, VCD to play on my xbox or ps2, please be VERY DETAILED i am truly a newbie at this, and please be open minded. i wish to use freeware but i do have nero and dvdit. please help

    I know this is impossible on a PS2 (VCD/SVCD) without a hardware add-on. I don't know about XBox.
