    i dont have a rf modulator. i hope its not nessacery. anyways, how do i do it? i connected the plugs and stuff, but nothing showed up. any help

    You just take the same cables that would go to your TV and hook them to your VCR. Unless your DVD player has been altered to be macrovision free you will not be able to record the DVD to VHS.
