hey, i'm considering purchasing this dvd burner..."Internal IDE DVD-R/RW Drive" its by Cendyne and has a retail of $300. does the burnt dvd quality differ between different dvd burners? or is the price just a matter of how fast and how many features the burner has and whether its internal or external? and how does the quality of the burnt dvds compare to the originals? are they so close you can't tell the difference? i really appreciate it if you answer one or all of these questions. thankyou.

$169 at office something fri morning after t-giving
wont last too long, hope nobody finds out its the
pio 104,after rebate of 50 bucks i think -
I went to OfficeMax and got this drive for $169 (counting the $50 rebate) and it says that the model number is the DVR-105. It's not the same picture as the box on the flyer. Is this a Pioneer 104 because it sounds like it's a 105 to me! If so even better deal!!!

You got that right it is the pioneer -AO5, I just got it they only had 5 for the whole store it is the new 4X DVD burner, I was very surprised when I got it I had no idea they were going to give me that one. for only $169 after rebate. Yeah baby.

Yeah the same thing happened to me, I rush over to Office Max dangerously early, it already happens to be a madhouse I dart into the hardware aisle, forge my way through the masses, pick up the box I saw on the flier and ... it was empty ... damn display box. An employee sneaks up from behind me, says "Oh you want one of those, i'll go get one." I stand around for a few moments looking at the empty box. Suddenly she comes back hands me a box, I stare at it a moment ... look at the display box ... something wasn't right ... the boxes were different. I am standing there puzzled and she assures me that its the same thing but a different box. As I leave the store after a treacherously long wait in the checkout line I realized that the display box had X2 on it ... the one I had in my hands said ... X4 ... woohoo ... all I need to do is install the damn thing.

maybe i'll go back to officemax and see if they'll let me order a new 4x burner at the same price
