I am using dvd2svcd, and I'm confused on the force film setting in dvd2avi..
When should I use it?
Last time I set it auto and it switched me to inverse telecline cuz it said my movie was a hybrid (mallrats).
Should I trust auto?

well...at least in mallrats, dvd2avi is correct...mallrats cannot be forced film, or it will be horribly jumpy...
force film is when the VIDEO type is FILM (or high percentage of FILM) and FRAME type is PROGRESSIVE
