playing a dvd+r on my stand alone player does not work help

Please help me.

i have ripped a dvd with dvd decrypther and i have used ifo edit to get vts sectors, than i used nero 5.9.9.17 to burn the dvd+r just like it sad so on the super newbie forum, UDF/ISO no multi session and turn off joliet.
it burnd o.k. , but when i put the dvd in to my stand alone player (Sony DAV-S500 it sad Can't play , i'm really pist off now because i tried it for 4 times now. it wil play on my pc with power dvd can someone plaese help me. i really want it to work on my stand alone player.


please help me.

read in ur manual about mode 1 and mode 2. Apparently DVD+R has two modes it can write in, and u may be in mode 1, i've read about people having trouble with dvd+r written in mode 1.

The manual should explain how to change to mode 2.

did you burn all files?sometimes forget the vts_01_0.vob
it has menu's stuff
