I have a Sony DRU500A on order. I am very much looking forward to being able to burn DVDs, however I am sure that I will still want to burn VCDs with VCDEasy.Does anyone know if VCDEasy is compatible with this drive? If not, could someone recommend a DVD/CD burner that is for sure? I will not be able to keep my current CD burner because I don't have a spare IDE slot.
Thanks!

I suggest that you think about using VCDeasy then making a bin/cue with it then burning your (S)VCD with a program like Nero that have been updated to work with this drive. The Nero OEM versions are inexpensive.
