  1. Hello,

    I use VirtualDub 1.4.10,
Video Compression: DivX Pro 5.0.2 Codec, bitrate 780, resolution 720x480, 29.97 fps (NTSC)
Audio Compression: Microsoft ADPCM codec, sampling rate: 44100Hz

my source: 1-minute video, captured from Sony TRV40, size: 260.891 Kb, resolution 720x480

after converting, the size of converted file: 26.824 KB !!!
    (I've tried many time )

    I heart that the size/minute of DivX format is 1-10 MB/min (http://www.vcdhelp.com/comparison)

    So, what's wrong?

Please help me and tell me how can I use DivX format for saving 60/75-min DV tape (from the Sony TRV40 or TRV50) on only ONE 700MB CD?

Do I have to change bitrate in DivX codec properties??? ...?

    Thank you very much beforehand,
    best regards,
    FW

  2. Make wur you use a compression codec for the audio too as I think vdub will default to PCM (uncompressed)

  3. Change your audio compression to MP3 and a suggestion for video quality, I would resize to 640x480 or maybe a slightly smaller interval.
