OK here is my problem I am trying to rip Minority report screener onto a DVD But when i play the movie the picture is off the left and smaller than it should be. The programs i used are VCD gear to get the mpg's from the bin and cue. TMPGEnc to split the audio and video to convert the audio to 4800 hz. DVD patcher to patch the file. Then spruce to create an image of the movie and finally NEODVD to burn the image. Can someone please help the movie picture and sound is great, But like i said its smaller than it should be and off to the left side of the screen. Its like watching a 13 inch on a 27 inch tv that isnt centered.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. i have another question to ask you. why are u wasting a DVD-R on a screener? minority report is coming out on DVD soon, and you'll be getting much better quality than the screener, which is usually VHS quality.

I had the same problem with my Pioneer DVD player when trying to play any SVCD that wasnt the correct resolution.... in other words, the player would only play 480x480..... anything else (352x480 or even 720x480) would only be played on the left half of the screen... I tried it on my Pioneer 343 and a Pioneer 333, both the same..... using spruce you probably had to trick the program and change the mpg to 352x480.... I bought an Apex 1100w with the correct serial number ($54 at Walmart) and it plays all the different formats and resolutions..... I make lots of XDVD's from the tv show svcd's i download.... all play fine..... hope this helps....
