I have recently encoded a movie. It cant play on my DVD-player. I then encoded a couple of seconds of the same movie with the same settings and burned in onto a CD-RW. It works fine, both PAL and NTSC that i first thought was the problem. It wasn't!
It's a Medion MD-4419. I can't imagine it has problems playing 80-minutes CD's. It has played other SVCD's before. I even cut out a big chunk of the "big" file and burned onto the CD-RW and it works!
I can even view the SVCD on the 80-minute disc on my computer.
