In doing some google searches for svcd info, I ran into dr. mercury's sight..
I guess it cost like a $1.60 a month..
Anyone here subscribe to it & is it worth it, or is most of the info in here adequate?
Thanks..

To the mod's:
Im not sure If listed this in the right forum, so feel free to move me.. -
Is this Dr. Mercury the same guy who posted his SVCD tool kit in some Usenet newsgroup? I never download his kit. But I guess it contains mostly freeware tools and his main goal is to make some money on some impressionable newbies.

NOt sure, but it sounds like the same guy--
Here's the link I came across..
http://www.svcd.cc/ -
I would remind anyone here that these site are most often scams to get newbie's to fork over cash before they realize that 99% of the real information they wanted was on this site, doom9, or other active FREE site.
He already admits that all of the tools to follow his guides are freeware. -
You won't find anything on Dr.Mercury's site that isn't here on VCDHELP,and here it's free. I'm famailiar with the Mercury site, until a couple of months ago it called SVCD something? and was free. I agree with Snowmoon it's probably just trying to scam "newbie's.
