Bought a good Nvidia video card a few months ago , and now I want to make SVCD from my old Hi8 tapes. I have 2 choices
1. Buy new expensive Ati Radeon 8500 all in wonder card that does everything and sell my Nvidia card
2. Keep Nvidia card and buy an older ATI capture card and keep both of them in the same computer
Question - will this combination work ? - my system runs perfectly at the moment and I am worried that having 2 video cards in this system might give problems - but this is the cheaper way for me to go

should work fine in most modern systems running win2000 or XP ...
opengl programs may be a problem with that combo ..
there is a web site somewhere that lists all the combos and what works and doesnt ...
BUT
why go for the ati capture card ? there are better choices ..
