hello. whats the difference between a LiteOn LTR-48125S and a LiteOn LTR-48125W? i believe they both have the same speed of 48x12x48x.

The S probably stands for Slot loading while the other probably uses a tray. I could be wrong though.

Slot is like most Car CD players. there is only a Slot to insert the DVD into. Hitting ejct extends the DVD all by itself. -
You might be better off with the newer 48/24/48.It has the newest chipset,and can be flashed to the 52/24/52.I just bought one from Staples for under $50 after rebate.Actually mine was under $40 with a
$10 off $50 coupon.
