    hi! how long does it take to copy 1GB on a 4.7GB dvd-R in 1x??

    one more thing i just brought a dvd writer that is only dvd+r & dvd+RW, is there some way i can use dvd-r discs in stead because there well cheaper than dvd+r disc's,and u can't get them in bulk packages either! actually is there a site that does cheap dvd+r in bulk??

    i haven't open the package yet so please confirm

    1x = 13xxkbpx so it should take like 12 minutes.

    No DVD+R drives cannot use DVD-R media.

    u sure that it is 12 minutes on 1x becuase i was told it was about that long on 2x. please reply so i know if to take it back or not.

    I just wrote 1.1 gb in 15 minutes on a 1x disc
