I have recently successfully ripped a small enough DVD using DVD decryptor and burned it and ripped a larger DVD using the DVD2DVR guide and both have worked, yet neither will play back in my PS2. Other DivX to DVD projects have worked in my PS2 because I have used ULead Moviefactory.
The question is, how do I rip a DVD to DVD so it will work in my PS2? Is there any way, or guides to use? I have checked the other guides but they all use Nero etc... Which probably won't work on my PS2.
(I have used Gear Pro DVD which is supposed to be super compatable)
Thankyou for your time!

its not the way u burn the disk or even author the disks, It the dvdr's u use in them, i just going to have a guest that u use cheap DVDR disks, say white lable, these do not work in the PS2. Ur mission now is to find a brand that does. And does it well.

Thanks. I copied the same disk using Nero instead of Gear Pro and it works much better! So much for compatibility problems with Nero.
Another tip, weird but my disks actually work on my PS2 if the PS2 is standing on its side! Strange but handy.
