I tried to re-encode Shrek two times now using ReMpeg, but the process seems to hang at 99% (why never at 1%) with CPU utilization at 100% and memory increasing slowly. I have to cancel the process, and the *.m2v stream seems to be unusable.

I did two other movies, but those re-encoded fine with ReMpeg.

    Any suggestions?

Rempeg is actually hanging up on the last frame of the transcode, but the .m2v it creates can be remuxed without problems.
