  1. ok, real quick here, im ripping just the movie VOBs of zoolander into an m2v and ac3 files while stripping the streams using smart ripper.

with the m2v file, i put it into rempeg and downsize it with all the standard settings.

then i go into ifo edit and remux it and create the new ifo files and whatnot so that i can burn it

it burns fine but when i play it every couple of seconds at random intervals the sound will stutter real quick and the video will freeze for a sec. its really minor but it happens enough and it is noticeable enough to ruin watching the movie. towards the end of the movie, it starts freezing for longer than a sec and blockyness starts showinng up. anyone have any ideas what could be causing this minor stuttering? do i need to change any of my settings in rempeg??

  2. does it play correctly on your pc?
what bitrate did u encode the video to?

i think u may have a media problem.....try burning it again and see if u have the same problem

  4. I've heard you can get that error often while re-encoding with ReMPEG and muxing with IFOEdit. I hear the older version .60 (don't hold me to that) fixes or reduces this error greatly.

I've also heard that putting all your eggs in one basket isn't good, I haven't figured out why yet.

  6. ReMPEG makes bad quality... try using CCE instead... great quality and works 100%...

read the Doom9's guide "Getting the best out of CCE"...
