  1. i cannot use virtual dub to split my 850 windows media file. any suggestions!

    Try to load it into TMPGEnc, then try to split it there.

    TMPGEnc Plus works as advertised. Cannot confirm about the sound. The only .wmv file I found does not have sound to begin with. Now get back to work!

  9. You can use Windows Movie Maker its easiest way if your file is in .wmv format, otherwise when you going to convert quality will suck big times. Or use TMPGEnc which is bit harder but it worth it.

    Freeware Asftools which is located on the left side of this page under other...tools...

    It cuts and joins asf/wmv files easily and quickly.
    There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
