Thanks to those who've helped me to get started - I can make a disc which plays on my PC no problem, in "VCD" format.

I want to play on my Sony Combined DVD/CD model DAV S300, but the disks won't play on that.

Am I right in thinking that the Sony won't have it? Or does anyone know of a format that will work?

The manual says the machine WILL play "VideoCDs"
