  1. Hi,
i have a few SVCDs (some burned some still as image on pc) with dual audio, which i can play with either audio stream in PowerDVD. With my DVD player however I can't switch the audio tracks.
example: One SVCD i have has german/english audio tracks (both playable in PowerDVD), but when playing it in my standalone DVD player (sampo 620) i can get only the german audio. How do i extract the english audio to create an svcd with english only.
My question: how can i extract one or the other audio track from the file to make a svcd with the audio track i want

    thanks for any help

Extract the MPEG file from the SVCD. Use the "MPEG Tools" in tmpgenc to demux the MPEG to an m2v and two mp2 files. Then use either tmpgenc or bbmpeg to mux the m2v and just the mp2 for the audio track you want in to a new MPEG, and create an SVCD from that.

  3. Thanx... i just checked it and yes the Demux shows both audio streams..
i think i looked only at the simple demux earlier and just got the first audiostream.
guess i just had a brainfart to not think to try the regular demux instead of the simple one...
Thx again... feel like an idiot now...
