I want to buy Premiere 6.5 for capturing/editing DV and then exporting to SVCD. How good is the MPEG Encoder included in Premiere 6.5? Has anyone used it? Does it produce better video quality than that found in TMPEnc Plus?

it is the main concept encoder and is very good -- as for comparing against tmpgenc .. well it is a lot quicker ...
