Hello, I recenly ripped Strange Days dvd. I opened up Dvdx and told it to encode the whole movie using divx 5
It broke up the avi into 2 parts.
First part was 738meg
The second was 86.8meg
Why did it break it into two parts.
Something else I noticed. In part two, the voice of the cast is out of sync. However, this is not the case in part 1. Is there a way I can convert it to avi without having Dvdx split it?
thanks

it breaks it up so it will fit on 2 disks, you will notice that if you narrow the fram rate and sound qaulity down you eill be able to get it on 1 disk.
Remember to look at the mb of the movie, a average disk is 700 mb so if you movie is over that then it will make 2 files.
You shud be able to get a movie on 1 disk but only in vcd format, and that format is shit, well i say shit compared to svcd. as far as i no you will need 2 disks in svcd format.
hope this has been some help good luck jamie
