Hello, I recenly ripped Strange Days dvd. I opened up Dvdx and told it to encode the whole movie using divx 5
It broke up the avi into 2 parts.
First part was 738meg
The second was 86.8meg
Why did it break it into two parts.
Something else I noticed. In part two, the voice of the cast is out of sync. However, this is not the case in part 1. Is there a way I can convert it to avi without having Dvdx split it?
thanks

Exactly the same behavior here with DvdX with The 6th Day, which I did yesterday. The main DivX file is 727megs, the second DivX file is 8megs. In the DvdX settings I indicated that I wanted the movie all on one disk, with a maximum size of 750megs.
Maybe the bitrate defaults to some kind of minimum?
