  1. Hey there,

I am starting a speaking career and want to create a web site that people can chekc out. I want to put video clips on the web site that people can download and watch. What format would be the best to use for this? It needs to be good quality, small file size, and able to be played without having to download any thing else to play it. If any one has any suggestions that would be great. Also if they could explain how to do it using what programs that would be great too. Thanks in advance.

I think .wmv or .asf is more geared for web video.

  5. You can also use Real encoder - it is the competing format to Microsoft's streaming formats. See www.real.com

Many encoders/authoring programs spit out realvideo as an option including Studio7 & Studio 8 www.pinnaclesys.com

I guess I should mention Quicktime from Apple - also a biggie http://www.apple.com/quicktime/

    Good luck.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
