Converted wmv to mpg but won't read in vcd player

I sucessfully converted a wmv file by ripping the audio out then converting with TMPGEnc.. Then I burned it with Nero making into a vcd formar but, now my vcd player won't play it.. VCD player reads it because it displays the time on the cd but, when i click play it just sits there at 00:00.. Can anyone tell me what I might have done wrong.. Thanks!! ;P

Anyone?!?! Please help... I played the mpg in my computer so I have no idea what's wrong... ;/

Maybe it's your burning software. Try Nero (If you're not already using it). I'm new at this, so don't know much tips.

Or try some other conversion settings.

Just keep tweaking it, till you find a good setting, and the VCD machine plays it.

Thanks Squibbles1092, for the reply.. I'm still new at this too so with the conversion settings you lost me there.. ;/ Do you mean on the TMPEGnc? or and I do use Nero so that can't be it.. Thanks agian Squibbles
